The Safari Park will have somewhere basic to change but for showers and makeup operations you may prefer to return to your hotel before the ceremony and reception.
Dress Code
Cocktail attire. What does cocktail attire mean? The simple version is that it means a suit and tie or a cocktail dress. It also leaves some room to express yourself. If you find yourself asking a question like, "This wedding is at a zoo, is it ok to wear a tie or dress with capybaras on it?" the answer is yes. Groom will be wearing a suit; no tuxes please. The ceremony and cocktail hour are on grass so consider this when picking your shoes.
Weather
The temperature varies a lot in May. Expect a high from 65-80 and a low from 50-55. We suggest sunblock for the daytime and something warm for the evening. The wedding is outdoors until the reception. Rain is possible; check the forecast when the date is close.
Accessibility
The Safari Park can provide an ADA shuttle for transportation between locations within the park for guests. Please let us know ahead of time if you need to use it.
Children
We request for children to dip out after dinner before dancing begins. Thank you!
